Amman, Jordan – The Jordanian Armed Forces announced the deployment of a new contingent of 31 doctors, technicians, and specialists in various medical fields to support the operations of the Jordanian field hospital in northern Gaza. This deployment is part of the Kingdom’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to provide healthcare to the injured and sick in the Gaza Strip.
This step is part of a regular rotation program for medical personnel working at the hospital, ensuring the continuous provision of medical and surgical services around the clock. It also aims to maintain the medical facility’s readiness to handle the increasing number of patients and injured individuals.
Jordanian authorities confirmed that the new staff includes doctors in various specialties, along with technicians, nurses, and medical support personnel. The aim is to enhance the hospital’s operational capacity and improve its efficiency in handling emergencies, performing surgeries, and providing specialized healthcare.
The Jordanian field hospital in northern Gaza has been playing a pivotal role in providing medical services for years. It receives a large number of patients daily, providing treatment, examinations, and surgeries amidst the immense pressure on the health sector in Gaza.

The Kingdom also continues to implement numerous relief and humanitarian initiatives in coordination with international and regional organizations. These initiatives include sending medical and food aid and providing essential supplies to support the population in the Gaza Strip.
