Tehran, Iran – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian affirmed that his country will not back down from its demands presented to the United States.

He also stressed the importance of continued dialogue between the two sides to reach rational understandings.

In remarks carried by Al Arabiya, Pezeshkian said that talks with Washington must be conducted “rationally.”

He added that Iran expects to receive “rational responses” during the ongoing negotiations between the two parties.

Hold fast to Iranian demands

Pezeshkian stressed that Tehran remains committed to its positions and demands presented during talks with the United States.

He affirmed that his country will not back down despite the existing political pressures and challenges.

Pezeshkian’s remarks come amidst ongoing diplomatic efforts concerning the Iranian nuclear program.

The issue also relates to a number of outstanding regional matters between the two sides.

Emphasizing the importance of dialogue

Meanwhile, Pezeshkian indicated that halting dialogue was not a logical option,

stating, “It is not logical to say that we will not engage in dialogue.”

This signaled Tehran’s commitment to the negotiating track, despite existing disagreements with Washington.

Observers believe these statements reflect an Iranian attempt to keep political channels of communication open with the United States.

This comes amidst ongoing regional tensions and Western pressure on Tehran.

Anticipation is growing regarding the future of the negotiations

Relations between Iran and the United States are experiencing political and security tensions.

This comes amidst regional and international diplomatic efforts to revive

understandings regarding the nuclear issue and de-escalate tensions in the region.

The international community is closely watching the outcome of the ongoing talks between the two sides.

There are concerns that the negotiations may falter and that this could have repercussions for the security and stability of the Middle East.
