Amman – His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain discussed rapid regional developments in a high-level call. The two monarchs emphasized the urgent need to intensify political and diplomatic efforts to lower tensions and prevent the expansion of conflict, ensuring the preservation of regional security and stability.

The discussion covered the latest security and political developments in the Middle East, with both leaders warning of the grave consequences of escalation on the global economy, maritime navigation, and energy supplies during these critical times.

Supporting International Efforts and Prioritizing Dialogue

The two leaders affirmed the necessity of supporting all international endeavors aimed at restoring stability and prioritizing political solutions and constructive dialogue as the only means to avoid further crises. They stressed that protecting the security of Arab nations and the stability of their peoples remains a top priority in facing current challenges.

Continuous Coordination and Consultation

Concluding the call, both sides renewed their commitment to ongoing close coordination and consultation between Amman and Manama regarding various regional issues. These talks come amidst intensive diplomatic movements in Arab capitals to contain escalation and prevent the region from sliding into broader confrontations that could threaten security and developmental gains.
