Brussels, Belgium – Belgium strongly condemned the recent Iranian attacks on the UAE and declared its full solidarity with the Emirati people. Considering that these attacks represent a flagrant violation of international law.
Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevo said in a statement on Tuesday: “I express my full solidarity and support for the people of the United Arab Emirates, who were once again today the victim of unjustified Iranian attacks”. I condemn what constitutes a clear violation of international law, and the territorial integrity of the Gulf states must be respected.”
He stressed that Iran must seize the opportunity of the ongoing talks to reach a comprehensive solution. Stressing that “we all have an interest in achieving peace in the Middle East”.
