Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The Saudi Foreign Minister discussed regional developments with his Omani and Kuwaiti counterparts during a series of meetings and diplomatic contacts addressing current regional issues and challenges.

The talks focused on the situation in the Middle East in light of the escalating tensions in certain areas. The ministers stressed the importance of de-escalating tensions and prioritizing political and diplomatic solutions. This is essential to preserving the region’s security and stability and preventing it from sliding into further crises.

The two sides also discussed ways to enhance joint Gulf coordination and unify positions on issues of common interest. These discussions were particularly relevant given the security and economic challenges posed by rapidly evolving international developments.

The meetings addressed the repercussions of the current situation on energy markets and maritime security. The importance of ensuring stable supplies and protecting vital shipping lanes was emphasized. This supports the global economy and strengthens market confidence.

In the same context, they discussed enhancing trilateral cooperation in the political and economic spheres. They also discussed supporting humanitarian efforts in conflict zones and working to alleviate the suffering of civilians through joint relief initiatives.

The ministers affirmed the importance of continued consultation and coordination in the coming period. This included continued cooperation both within the Gulf Cooperation Council and in international forums. This reflects the three countries’ commitment to supporting regional stability and strengthening joint action.

These moves are part of an ongoing Gulf approach aimed at enhancing collective security. They also aim to intensify diplomatic efforts to address challenges, safeguarding the interests of the region’s countries and supporting peace and development.
