Manama, Bahrain – King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain met today with Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper to discuss regional and international developments.
They also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
Praise for the American role
The Bahrain News Agency reported that the King of Bahrain praised the pivotal role played by the United States,
alongside its sisterly and friendly nations, in consolidating security and stability at both the regional and international levels.
For his part, Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, during his meeting with the Commander of the US Central Command,
affirmed the depth and strength of relations between the two countries.
He also noted the historic role of the United States in supporting efforts to address security challenges in the region.
Supporting regional stability
The Crown Prince of Bahrain emphasized the importance of the role played by the United States,
in cooperation with its partners, in promoting security, stability,
and development amidst current regional challenges.
This meeting comes within the framework of ongoing coordination
between Bahrain and the United States to monitor developments in the region.
It also aims to strengthen cooperation in various security and defense fields.
