Ankara, Turkey – The Turkish President’s office announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told his American counterpart, Donald Trump, during a telephone call, that no opportunity should be given to sabotage the ceasefire process in the region.

Emphasis on the success of the truce

During the call, Erdogan stressed the importance of maintaining the current diplomatic momentum and working to solidify the ceasefire in a way that contributes to reducing escalation and preventing renewed clashes.

A call to prevent any escalation

He pointed to the need to take decisive steps to prevent any attempts to derail the agreement, stressing that continued tension could lead to serious repercussions for regional and international security.

Supporting the diplomatic track

The Turkish president affirmed his country’s commitment to supporting international efforts aimed at achieving stability, stressing that political solutions remain the best option to end the crisis and ensure the sustainability of calm in the region.
