Doha, Qatar – The State of Qatar affirmed that the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states are united in their call for de-escalation and an end to the war in the Middle East. It stressed that diplomatic solutions and peace are the best way to resolve the current conflicts.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in an official statement that the unified Gulf coordination aims to contain the escalation and prevent the expansion of military operations. Furthermore, this coordination focuses on strengthening diplomatic channels and dialogue between the conflicting parties.

The Ministry added that Qatar is actively participating in regional and international communications to support peace efforts. It also affirmed that unifying the Gulf positions is a fundamental pillar for achieving regional stability and maintaining the collective security of the Gulf states and the Arab peoples.

Doha emphasized that ongoing Gulf cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries contributes to enhancing the prospects for peaceful solutions. It called on all parties to exercise restraint and refrain from any escalatory actions that could exacerbate the crisis.
