Tehran, Iran – The Iranian news agency Tasnim reported that security authorities arrested 10 foreigners on espionage charges.

This came as part of a security campaign aimed at thwarting attempts to infiltrate and threaten national security.

The agency stated that the relevant authorities had been monitoring the suspects’ movements for some time.

After that, they carried out simultaneous arrests that were related to espionage activities.

It added that initial investigations revealed their involvement in espionage

Additionally, they collected sensitive information from various locations.

They then transferred this information to foreign entities as part of ongoing espionage operations.

Authorities did not disclose the nationalities of the accused.

They also did not disclose the nature of the entities they are suspected of collaborating with in espionage cases.

However, local reports suggested the case was linked to intelligence networks operating
