Moscow, Russia – The recent announcement of a nuclear agreement between the United States and Armenia has sparked a wave of reactions in Moscow. The Kremlin confirmed today that Russia is closely monitoring developments, emphasizing the need for all parties to respect existing international treaties. It also stressed the importance of ensuring that the agreement does not negatively impact regional stability.

The Russian presidential spokesperson stated that the agreement represents “a new development in our European neighborhood.” Moscow expressed hope that the nuclear issue will be handled transparently and without any steps that could threaten regional security.

This statement comes amidst a flurry of diplomatic activity in the region, including exchanges of visits between US and Armenian officials, and concerns about the agreement’s impact on the balance of power in the Caucasus and the Middle East.

The Kremlin affirmed that it will continue to coordinate with its regional and international partners to ensure that any nuclear progress is safe and compliant with international standards. It also emphasized this commitment in an effort to mitigate any potential repercussions of the agreement on Russian security.

The news comes amid close global attention, as the international community monitors the implementation of the agreement. It also monitors the extent to which the parties concerned adhere to the announced conditions, amid expectations of new developments in the coming weeks.
