Ankara, Turkey – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will officially join the “Peace Council for Gaza,” a move reflecting a new Turkish diplomatic escalation within the framework of Turkish efforts to support international initiatives aimed at halting the aggression and alleviating the humanitarian suffering in the Gaza Strip.

The Turkish President affirmed that his country will not stand idly by regarding what is happening in Gaza, emphasizing the continuation of diplomatic and humanitarian efforts at various levels, whether through international organizations or multilateral political initiatives.
He indicated that the “Peace Council for Gaza” represents an important platform for unifying international pressure, working to deliver humanitarian aid urgently, and holding the international community accountable for the ongoing violations against civilians.
