Munich, Germany – Munich Airport again announced on Saturday the postponement of flights following the detection of several drones overnight.

A notice on the airport’s website read: “Due to the detection of drones, the start of flight operations was delayed on October 4, 2025. We ask all passengers to check the status of their flights on the airline’s website before arriving at the airport.”

The German Air Traffic Control Authority suspended flight operations on Friday for the second night in a row. This was a precautionary measure after two drones were spotted.

Munich Airport stressed that when a drone is spotted, the safety of passengers is the highest priority.

The airport added that 46 flights were unable to depart. Meanwhile, 23 incoming flights were diverted, and 12 flights to Munich were cancelled. This situation affected about 6,500 passengers.
