Beirut—Star Ahmed Saad won the “Popular Arab Star” award at the 2026 Murex D’Or ceremony currently taking place in Lebanon. He was also honored for his song “Muxarat” during the event’s 26th edition, which is attended by a host of prominent stars from the worlds of art, drama, and music across Lebanon and the Arab world.

Ahmed Saad was honored after competing for the “Best Arab Male Artist” award alongside a host of prominent singing stars, including Amr Diab, Tamer Hosny, Mohamed Hamaki, Hussain Al Jassmi, Ihab Tawfik, Saif Nabeel, Tamer Ashour, Saad Lamjarred, George Wassouf, Hamada Helal, Rashed Al-Majid, Bahaa Sultan, Majid Al Mohandis, Mohamed Mounir, Nassif Zeytoun, Al-Shami, Ahmed Gamal, Saint Levant, Toolate, Ramy Sabry, Ramy Gamal, Mohamed Ramadan, Rabeh Saqer, Hossam Habib, and others.
Ahmed Saad’s Murex d’Or Awards
This is not the first time Ahmed Saad has been honored at the Murex d’Or awards; he has previously won several awards in past editions in recognition of the success achieved by his musical works.
In 2023, Ahmed Saad won the “Best Arabic Song” award for the songs “Sayerina Ya Donia” and “Eih El-Yom El-Helw Da” at the Murex d’Or ceremony held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
In 2024, he also won the “Outstanding Arabic Song” award for the song “Ya Arraf,” which he performed in collaboration with artist Ahmed Zaeem and Tunisian rapper Nordo.
Stars at the 26th Murex D’or Awards
The 26th edition of the Murex d’Or is attracting widespread attention, given the participation of numerous stars from the worlds of entertainment, drama, and music in the ceremony’s events, alongside the competition for a diverse range of awards across these fields.
The ceremony will be co-hosted by Moatasem Al Nahar and Maya Abou Al-Hassan, attended by a host of stars from Lebanon and the Arab world, as well as the creators of the works nominated for the various awards.
The Murex d’Or is considered one of the most prominent artistic awards in the Arab world; throughout its various editions, the ceremony has consistently honored leading stars and creators, while celebrating outstanding achievements in music, drama, and the arts.
