Cairo, Egypt – Actor Hesham Maged begins filming the first scenes of his new series, “Amel Mayyet” (Dead Man), today, Monday. The show, which blends comedy and suspense, is set to premiere soon on a digital platform.

The series belongs to the comedy-thriller genre and consists of 10 episodes; it is written by Ahmed Mohamady, directed by Khaled El-Halfawy, and produced by Mohamed Fawzy.
The championship cast features Hisham Maged, Hatem Salah, Gihan El-Shamashergy, Ahmed El-Rafei, and Hamza Diab, alongside a number of other artists.
The series marks the second consecutive collaboration between Hesham Maged and Hatem Salah, following the success they achieved together in the film “Barshama.”

Hisham Maged’s latest cinematic work was the film *Barshama*, co-starring Hatem Salah, Reham Abdel Ghafour, Bassem Samra, Mostafa Ghareeb, Michel Milad, Fadwa Abed, Kamal Abu Raya, Arefa Abdel Rasoul, Walid Fawaz, Faten Saeed, Mohamed Abu Dawood, Ahmed Mohareb, and Mohamed El-Soweisy.
The film is directed by Khaled Diab, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Sherine Diab and Ahmed El-Zoghby.
