Athens, Greece – Starting this fall on October 12, 2026, Athens will open its doors to an extraordinary experience that will take visitors on a journey through time to the depths of the Atlantic Ocean.
This will be made possible by hosting the “Titanic: An Immersive Voyage” exhibition at the Joudie Digital Theatre.
This event will offer an unprecedented interactive experience that places visitors
at the heart of the historical story of the most famous passenger ship of the modern era.
Historical narrative and human stories
The exhibition doesn’t simply present dry historical facts; instead, it employs an emotional storytelling
approach to document the lives of the passengers from the moment they boarded the ship.
It then takes visitors through the opulent halls and cabins, culminating in the dramatic and pivotal moments of the sinking.
Through cutting-edge display technologies, including 3D animation and interactive video,
visitors can immerse themselves in the ship’s atmosphere in all its detail.
They will also have the opportunity to see original artifacts recovered from the wreck site.
Furthermore, they can view handwritten letters that reflect the poignant human experiences of the passengers.
Virtual reality experience
The “virtual tour” is one of the exhibition highlights, allowing visitors to virtually dive to
a depth of over four kilometers below the surface of the Atlantic Ocean
to explore the ship’s remains as they lie today on the seabed.
This innovative technology transforms the visitor from a passive
observer into an active participant in exploring one of history’s greatest maritime mysteries.

This exhibition is the result of cooperation between Hope Exhibitions and the Greek company Placebo Events,
