Cairo, Egypt – The production company behind the film “Al-Qisas” has set next Tuesday as the date for a special screening at a well-known cinema in 6th of October City, just days before its official release in Egyptian cinemas on June 17th. It will then begin screening in various Arab countries starting June 18th.
A human journey spanning decades
The film takes the audience on a human journey spanning from 1967 to the late 1980s, through the story of Ahmed, a young pianist striving to achieve his artistic dreams amidst life’s challenges and upheavals. Throughout his journey, he faces numerous family and emotional conflicts, while his personal ambitions intersect with the major political and social transformations that swept the region during that period.
A love story through correspondence
The film’s teaser trailer revealed a love story that develops between the protagonist and an Austrian girl through correspondence, within a dramatic framework that blends romance and nostalgia, and explores the impact of historical events and wars on individuals’ lives and dreams.

The cast of “Stories” includes a selection of stars, led by Amir El Masry and Nelly Karim, along with Valerie Bachner, Karim Kassem, Ahmed Kamal, Sabry Fawaz, Khaled Mokhtar, Ahmed El Azzar, Sherif El Desouky and Amr Abed.
