On April 30, 1945, Adolf Hitler chose to write his own ending rather than fall captive to his enemies. Obviously, the psychological and political collapse of the Nazi regime reached its zenith inside the “Fuhrerbunker.” The very place from which he once aimed to rule the world turned into a “fortified tomb,” witnessing the final moments of the leader who set an entire continent ablaze.
