Cairo, Egypt – Star Ahmed Helmy has begun filming his latest cinematic work, titled “Hadouta,” which is his second artistic project in 2026, following his recent completion of the film “Ad’af Khalqoh,” co-starring actress Hend Sabry.
A Tale… Helmy’s Second Film
This is Helmy’s second project this summer, and it is expected to be released in the coming period. It is anticipated that he will present a different experience in terms of both the idea and the dramatic treatment.
Filming of “His Weakest Creation” has wrapped
Star Ahmed Helmy recently finished filming his new movie “The Weakest of His Creation,” which takes place in 2007 inside the Giza Zoo, within a humanistic drama framework.
Animal scientist facing pressure
Throughout the events, Helmy portrays a zoologist living under increasing financial and familial pressures, with a limited income and mounting family responsibilities, which are exacerbated by new developments within his family.
Internal conflict and a fateful decision
The plot thickens as he witnesses the animals’ suffering in the park, beginning to project his own experiences onto what he sees daily. He then faces a difficult test when he receives an offer from a wealthy visitor to relocate several animals, forcing him to make a life-altering decision. This marks Hend Sabry’s first collaboration with Helmy, with Omar Helal writing and directing, and Mohamed Hefzy producing.
