Cairo, Egypt – Ashraf Zaki, head of the Egyptian Actors Syndicate, denied the news circulating about the death of artist Mohamed Sobhi,
stressing that the news that has recently spread is false.
Zaki explained that Sobhi is in stable health and is receiving the necessary medical care
at the hospital after suffering a sudden fainting spell due to extreme exhaustion.
Zaki indicated that Sobhi was admitted to the intensive care unit for a short period.
But he showed gradual improvement, and the medical team began
to gradually reduce the level of medical monitoring.
Zaki: He is not deceased
He added: “Mohamed Sobhi is not dead, and his condition is now largely reassuring.”
We urge everyone to stop spreading rumors and to pray for his recovery.”
Zaki confirmed that the artist is expected to leave the hospital next week,
according to the doctors’ recommendation.
He explained that this was not the first case, as he had previously been taken
to the hospital several months ago to check on his health.
