Khor Fakkan, UAE – Shabab Al Ahli made a strong start to their campaign in the new UAE Pro League season, overturning a deficit against hosts Khor Fakkan to secure a resounding 5-1 victory in their opening match on Saturday evening at the Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium.
Khorfakkan took the lead in the 25th minute through Elton Felipe, capitalizing on their home advantage. The first half ended with them leading 1-0.
The balance of the match shifted completely at the start of the second half, as Shabab Al Ahli imposed their attacking dominance. They managed to score five consecutive goals, securing all three points.

Saeed Ezzatallah equalized for Shabab Al Ahli in the 57th minute, after he rose to meet a perfect cross and headed the ball into Khorfakkan’s net.
The same player then put his team ahead in the 79th minute, converting a penalty. Yuri Cesar added a third goal in the 84th minute.
Al Ahli’s offensive surge did not stop, as Sardar Azmoun strengthened his team’s lead with the fourth goal in the 87th minute. Then, Reklim completed the visitors’ five-goal haul in the second minute of stoppage time.
