Abu Dhabi, UAE – The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in an official statement, affirmed that the UAE is following with grave concern the Iranian terrorist attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain, stressing its firm stance calling for an end to the military escalation and the protection of civilians and vital infrastructure from the repercussions of military operations.

The Ministry emphasized in its statement the importance of adhering to international humanitarian law and ensuring that civilian infrastructure that directly impacts people’s lives, including energy, transportation, and essential services facilities, is not targeted. It warned that continued escalation exacerbates the humanitarian crisis and threatens regional and international stability.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called for prioritizing political and diplomatic solutions and opening channels of dialogue between the concerned parties, stressing that the political track is the only option capable of ending the escalating crises in the region.

It affirmed that the UAE continues its regional and international efforts to support de-escalation initiatives and is working with international partners to reduce tensions and prevent the conflict from spreading, thereby achieving security and stability.

The statement concluded by emphasizing that protecting civilians is a legal and moral obligation, and that any targeting of civilian infrastructure will have serious repercussions for international peace and security.
