  • Preventive Health and Connected Care Vision

Seoul, South Korea – Samsung Electronics has officially introduced its new “Health Assistant” feature, described as its first comprehensive personalized digital health assistant driven by artificial intelligence. The tool is designed to help users monitor their well-being and achieve health goals through customized data analysis and actionable insights. Currently, it is available in beta for eligible users in the United States via the Samsung Health app.

Comprehensive Data Analysis and Personalized Guidance

The Health Assistant aggregates and analyzes biometric data across five core pillars: sleep, physical activity, nutrition, mindfulness, and vital signs. It converts complex health metrics into clear, actionable insights, helping users better understand their physical and mental baseline.

Users can interact with the assistant to ask health-related questions and receive personalized guidance based on their biometric trends. This enables the detection of subtle health patterns. In addition, Samsung confirmed that recommendations generated by the AI engine are verified by a team of board-certified physicians and accredited health coaches. This process ensures medical accuracy.

Preventive Health and Connected Care Vision

Samsung announced plans to expand the assistant’s capabilities to include long-term health coaching and behavior tracking. The company will also add weight management programs tailored to individual daily routines via its Personal Data Engine.

Dr. Hon Pak, Senior Vice President and Head of the Digital Health Team at Samsung Electronics, stated that the new feature advances the vision of “connected care.” By providing users with a deeper understanding of their holistic health, the technology transforms everyday biometric data into preventive measures. As a result, it enhances overall quality of life.

Samsung’s new AI Health Assistant marks a key shift toward preventive, connected healthcare. It translates everyday biometrics into verified insights that empower early detection and healthier routines.
