Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised UAE citizens not to travel unless necessary to Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the Republic of South Sudan. In light of the health developments related to the Ebola virus (EVD) that these countries are witnessing in this regard.
As part of the UAE’s keenness to follow up on the conditions of its citizens abroad and ensure their safety, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of adhering to the instructions and warnings issued by it.
She also called on citizens in these countries to exercise the utmost caution and to adhere to health and safety regulations issued by authorities in Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and South Sudan.
