Dubai, UAE – Digital Dubai organized an intensive and specialized camp in cooperation with government agencies to accelerate the inclusion of individual services in the “Dubai Now” application.
This comes as part of efforts to implement the directives of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense. 180 new services
More than 180 new services are scheduled to be added to the Dubai Now app by the end of February 2027. In order to achieve the leadership’s vision, services are provided through the unified digital channel for individual services in Dubai. It brings the emirate closer to completing the goals of the Joint Digital Channels Initiative.
The Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Police, Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, Dubai Health Authority, and Dubai Health are participating in the workshop. Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities, Dubai Culture, Department of Finance, Community Development Authority, General Administration of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai. These entities will take the initiative to complete the transfer of their services to the “Dubai Now” application. Other government agencies will later join in the next implementation stages.
A qualitative shift in government services
Commenting on this step, His Excellency Matar Al Himeri, CEO of the Dubai Digital Government Foundation, said: “The Shared Digital Channels Initiative represents a qualitative shift in the way government services are provided in Dubai”. It is based on unifying services within specialized digital channels that provide a clearer and easier experience for customers, supported by artificial intelligence. This workshop comes as part of Dubai Digital’s efforts to accelerate the implementation of the directives of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Ensuring a smooth transition of services to the Dubai Now application as the unified digital channel for individual services.
He added: “The goal is not limited to providing services through one platform”. Rather, it extends to building an interconnected government experience in which government agencies operate as a single system centered around human needs. As more services join the Dubai Now app, we continue to promote a digital model that makes access to services easier, faster, and more reliable. It embodies Dubai’s vision of providing the best digital experience in the world.

These efforts are part of Dubai’s efforts to unify government service delivery channels, thus establishing a smoother and more integrated digital experience. It enhances the quality of life and the emirate’s global competitiveness, in implementation of the joint digital channels initiative launched by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid. Which aims to provide Dubai services through seven unified and specialized platforms, including the (Dubai Now) platform for individuals, and the (Invest in Dubai) platform for business. The (Visit Dubai) tourism platform, in addition to four dedicated channels covering the fields of transportation, justice, construction, and trade in the Emirate of Dubai.
