Warning of the repercussions of escalation
Qatar warned of the dangers of escalating tensions targeting strategic and sensitive facilities, particularly those related to energy. Such escalation could have repercussions for regional security, maritime safety, and the stability of global energy markets.
Doha affirmed its solidarity with the UAE in confronting any threats to its security and territorial integrity. It also expressed its support for efforts aimed at protecting civilians and vital infrastructure.
Calls to reduce tensions

Qatar’s stance comes amidst a series of Arab and international condemnations of the attack targeting the vicinity of the Barakah nuclear power plant. These condemnations followed Emirati and international assurances that radiation safety levels at the plant remain within normal limits.
