Abu Dhabi, UAE – Dibba, Al Bataeh, and Al Dhafra enter the 26th and final round of the ADNOC Pro League amidst a fierce and intense battle to avoid relegation to the First Division, in one of the most dramatic end-of-seasons in recent years.
The survival calculations have become extremely complicated, after Dibba and Al Bataeh froze their points at 20 in 12th and 13th place, compared to 19 points for Al Dhafra in last place, with direct confrontations becoming a decisive factor in determining the identity of the relegated teams.
The direct confrontations are relatively in favor of Dibba against Al Bataeh, as well as Al Dhafra against Al Bataeh, while the balance is equal between Dibba and Al Dhafra, which increases the difficulty of predicting before the decisive round.
The final round features some very difficult matches, with Al Bataeh visiting Shabab Al Ahli, and Dibba hosting Al Ain. Meanwhile, Al Dhafra will host Al Wahda, with all matches kicking off simultaneously.
Dibba has a slight advantage, as they can secure their survival with a win against Al Ain, regardless of other results. Al Bataeh, on the other hand, needs a positive result against Shabab Al Ahli coupled with slip-ups from their rivals.
Al Dhafra, on the other hand, has only one option: to defeat Al Wahda while awaiting the results of Dibba and Al Bataeh. Any result other than a victory will officially relegate them.
The final round remains open to all possibilities, with tough matches and great pressure that could decide the fate of the three clubs until the very last moments of the season.
