Abu Dhabi, UAE – Al Nasr returned to winning ways, after achieving a valuable 2-1 victory over their guest Kalba, in the match that brought them together at Al Maktoum Stadium, as part of the 25th round of the ADNOC Pro League.
Abdullah Toure opened the scoring for Al Nasr early in the 14th minute, capitalizing on a loose ball inside the penalty area and firing a powerful low shot into the net. The home side finished the first half with a 1-0 lead, enjoying a slight advantage. Meanwhile, a goal for Kalba was disallowed by VAR for offside.
In the second half, Andres Maxso managed to equalize for Kalba in the 64th minute, after he met a ball inside the penalty area with a direct shot that found the back of the net.
Al-Nasr’s response was not long in coming, as Luka Milivojevic restored the home side’s lead in the 72nd minute, after scoring the second goal from a penalty kick.
