Abu Dhabi, UAE – The match between Bani Yas and their guest Shabab Al Ahli ended in a 2-2 draw on Sunday evening at Bani Yas Stadium, as part of the opening of the 25th round of the ADNOC Pro League.
Shabab Al Ahli took an early lead through Mohammed Juma Al Mansouri in the 10th minute, before Lionel Verdi equalized for Bani Yas in the 34th minute. Al Mansouri then restored the visitors’ lead with his second personal goal in the 39th minute.

The remaining minutes saw both teams making attempts to snatch a winning goal, with a goal for Shabab Al Ahli being cancelled due to offside, and the crossbar denying Seveor Godwin a killer goal.
With this result, Bani Yas raised their points tally to 27, placing them eighth. Meanwhile, Shabab Al Ahli reached 57 points, maintaining their second-place position in the league standings.
