Two fights for the UAE judo team in the Astana Grand Slam tournament

Astana, Kazakhstan – UAE national judo team players Karim Abdul Latif and Naji Yazbek will compete in the light middleweight competition on Saturday. In the Grand Slam tournament, which is organized by the Kazakhstan Federation, under the supervision of the International Federation, and concludes on Sunday, and its prizes are 154 thousand euros.

Player Karim Abdel Latif will face Kyrgyz champion Dzuma Bykov, in the “under 73 kg” weight category. While his teammate Nagy Yazbek is fighting a match with the Moldovan player Metro Vlad, at the same weight.

On the other hand, the UAE national team will conclude its participation in the tournament on Sunday with two matches by Aram Georgian, under 90 kg, in the heavyweight category, against Russian champion Khubetsov Aland. His teammate Omar Marouf, “over 100 kg”, with the winner of the match between India’s Singh Dayan, and Kazakhstan’s champion Krik Galmjan.
