ANKARA, Turkey – Swedish player Michael Lindberg has been named the Asian Series champion this season in the Race to Dubai at DB World Golf Tour. Lindbergh also benefited from his victory by advancing in the world rankings issued on Monday for the “Race to Dubai”. He ranks seventh with a total of 1,031 points, having participated in 10 tournaments this season.
In exchange for winning the honorary title of the “Asian Series”, Lindbergh won a ticket to participate in the American Championship “BGA”, one of the four major golf tournaments.
