Dubai, UAE – Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched the “Mohammed bin Rashid Government Missions” program in the presence of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. With the start of his first batch of academic programs, which include an elite group of national competencies in government agencies. In a step that represents the beginning of a new path to prepare specialized government leaders, who are selected and qualified according to the state’s needs in the fields of economy, technology, and policy making.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said: “In our meeting with an elite group of national cadres within the first batch of government missions.. We assured them that development leaps are made by flexible and educated governments capable of understanding the world and transforming knowledge into decision-making. The decision is to be accomplished.
“Continuous learning is a constant progression,” he added. Our goal is to transform human knowledge in universities into a reality experienced by societies.
He said in a post on the “X” platform, which he published alongside a photo with the first batch of Mohammed bin Rashid’s specialized missions: “With the first batch of Mohammed bin Rashid’s specialized missions.. It is aimed at national government cadres at the best international universities, such as New York University, Georgetown University, Mohammed bin Zayed University for Artificial Intelligence, and others.
He continued: “The goal is to gain specialized expertise in the future sectors for these cadres.. The goal is for the government to keep learning. Non-stop.. We are a people who never stop learning. Because knowledge is what took us from the simplicity of the desert to the depths of space.
The launch of the program reflects a government trend to reconnect education pathways with government work requirements, prepare national cadres capable of dealing with government priority files, and transform knowledge into more efficient and impactful decisions and policies.
