Manama, Bahrain – The second round of the third edition of the UAE Arabian Horse World Cup will begin on Saturday evening. Hosted by the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, at the Bahrain Endurance Racing Village, with the participation of 106 horses belonging to approximately 72 owners. As part of a series of international championships organized by the UAE in support of Arabian horse owners and breeders around the world.
This championship comes within the framework of the UAE’s pioneering role in developing Arabian horse championships, activities, and services, and enhancing its global standing. Considering purebred Arabian horses an integral part of the country’s cultural heritage and national identity, and an important pillar in supporting owners and breeders. Expanding the base of international participation in this field.
Tours on different continents
The Emirates World Cup for Arabian Horses series is being held under the supervision of His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee. The third edition includes several tours on various continents of the world. Reflecting the global standing of UAE initiatives in supporting Arabian horses.
The Bahrain tour will be held over two days, and includes competitions for one-year-old foals, one-year-old foals, two- and three-year-old foals, and two- and three-year-old foals. In addition to the mares and stallions’ competitions, the competitions will conclude with the final championships for these categories.
Establishing leadership
The first round of the third edition was held in Australia on January 30 and 31, 2026. The Kingdom of Morocco will host the third round on May 9 and 10. Followed by the fourth tour in the USA from September 16 to 19. Then the fifth round will be held in China on October 6 and 7, while the sixth round will be held in Italy on November 7 and 8. The third edition will conclude in Brazil on November 14, 2026.
