KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – The UAE National Pavilion continues to attract international attention on the second day of Defense Services Asia Expo & Conference (DSA 2026). Which will be held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur from April 20 to 23. Emphasizing its position as a leading platform for international cooperation in the fields of defense and innovation.
The UAE is participating in the exhibition held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur. With support from the UAE Ministry of Defense and the Balance Council for Defense Empowerment. Organized by ADNEC Group, one of Modon’s companies, in a clear embodiment of the country’s commitment to strengthening cross-border partnerships and advancing the development of defense industries globally.
Iqbal is remarkable
The pavilion witnessed a remarkable turnout on the second day of the exhibition, receiving more than 2,200 visitors. They include high-ranking military officials, international delegations, and senior executives from leading global defense and security companies. This reflects the UAE’s growing position as a global center for advanced defense technologies and future solutions.
Among the VIP visitors on Tuesday was a high-level royal delegation headed by His Royal Highness Tengku Sharafuddin Badli Shah bin Al Amin Al Karim Sultan Salehuddin, Crown Prince of the Malaysian state of Kedah Darul Aman. His Royal Highness Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra bin Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamal al-Layl, Crown Prince of the Malaysian state of Perlis.

On the Emirati side, the pavilion was visited by Dr. Nasser Hamid Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Balance Council for Defense Empowerment, and his accompanying delegation. Amer Hassan Al Tunaiji, Acting Head of the UAE Mission to Malaysia, to review the latest developments in the pavilion this year.
The UAE National Pavilion received representatives of high-level delegations from: the Sultanate of Oman, Turkey, Thailand, Namibia, South Africa, South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Italy, Myanmar, Germany, and others. This enhances its role as a global platform for showcasing UAE defence technologies and exchanging insights into strategic priorities in the defence sector.
In addition, the pavilion continued to facilitate strategic meetings with sector leaders, experts, and major national and international defense and security companies. It hosted more than 80 meetings during the second day of the event.

These meetings discussed the latest developments in defense manufacturing and advanced technologies. Including unmanned systems, robotics, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity solutions. Reflecting the UAE’s leadership in keeping pace with the accelerating demands of the global defense sector.
Major UAE defence companies, including Edge, Calides, Resource Industries and Assis Boats, have introduced their latest innovations and advanced defence solutions manufactured in the UAE. Which received wide attention from visiting delegations, and contributed to consolidating the UAE’s position as a global center for innovation in defense and security technologies.
