with the “Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist” (Velayat-e Faqih) aim to fracture the fabric of Arab society.
Furthermore, the statement emphasized that Cairo categorically rejects
any external interference seeking to destabilize its Arab brethren.
This Egyptian stance reinforces the “moderate front” in the region,
particularly given the monitoring of similar movements
by terrorist cells in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, which were thwarted in recent months.
Gulf security is a red line for Egyptian security
Egypt reiterated its firm stance that the security and stability of the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)
states constitute a fundamental pillar and an integral part of Egyptian and Arab national security.
The statement indicated that the military and security challenges posed
by the “March 2026 war” necessitate the highest levels of joint Arab coordination.
