  • Ongoing humanitarian commitment
  • A global platform for coordinating aid
  • Massive relief stockpile and global response

Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Humanitarian Foundation has affirmed its full operational readiness to continue supporting emergency response efforts worldwide. This comes amidst the rapidly evolving international landscape of disasters and humanitarian crises.

The Foundation explained that this readiness is backed by the unwavering support of relevant authorities and key partners in the UAE. Work is also ongoing to expand the scope of humanitarian support in response to requests from member international organizations. Furthermore, the Foundation is responding to requests from partners working in the relief sector.

Ongoing humanitarian commitment

Dubai Humanitarian Foundation reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to supporting communities affected by disasters and emergencies worldwide. It emphasized its continued role as a fully integrated humanitarian hub, working to facilitate the delivery of life-saving aid to areas impacted by disasters and emergencies both regionally and internationally.

The foundation stressed that its humanitarian mission is centered on supporting the international humanitarian community. Furthermore, it provides a comprehensive platform for coordinating relief efforts, thereby accelerating responses to humanitarian emergencies across the globe.

A global platform for coordinating aid

Dubai Humanitarian Center hosts more than 80 international non-profit humanitarian organizations, along with UN agencies and commercial companies. It is therefore a trusted global platform for mobilizing and coordinating essential relief shipments and ensuring their rapid and efficient delivery to affected populations.

The center’s operations also rely on close collaboration with government entities and strategic partners in Dubai and the UAE. This facilitates logistical operations and provides the necessary regulatory support for the safe and efficient transport of humanitarian aid.

Massive relief stockpile and global response

For over two decades, Dubai Humanitarian has established itself as the world’s largest humanitarian logistics hub. Its Humanitarian Logistics Information Bank data demonstrates a high level of preparedness to respond to natural disasters, climate change-related crises, conflicts, and other complex emergencies.

Dubai Humanitarian’s warehouses currently hold relief and humanitarian supplies valued at approximately US$200 million. These supplies include medicines, medical equipment, shelter materials, water and sanitation supplies, emergency food, communications equipment, educational and protection materials, and logistical assets. Furthermore, this aid is dispatched annually to more than 100 countries worldwide.
