Abu Dhabi, UAE – The General Authority of Civil Aviation announced the start of operating exceptional flights at UAE airports.

The Authority called on passengers whose flights are affected not to go to airports until they are contacted and informed of flight times and details by airlines, to avoid congestion and ensure smooth procedures.
Civil Aviation appreciated the cooperation of passengers, stressing that adherence to the instructions issued contributes mainly to facilitating procedures and ensuring regular operational movement.

Emirates Airlines announced the operation of a limited number of flights, starting Monday evening, in light of the continued impact of airspace closures in the region on air traffic.
The company explained that it will give priority to customers who have advance reservations.
She indicated that direct contact will be made with passengers who have been rebooked on these limited flights.
It also called on customers not to go to the airport unless they receive notification.
The carrier confirmed that all other flights will remain suspended until further notice, while continuing to closely monitor the situation and update the operational schedule in accordance with developments.

In a related context, Etihad Airways said that its scheduled commercial flights to and from Abu Dhabi will continue to be suspended.
She indicated that a limited number of aircraft repositioning flights, cargo flights, and flights to return citizens and residents to their countries will be operated.
