compassion
Mahra Al Dhaheri said: “Work on preparing the project’s breakfast meals will begin by operating five large, fully equipped central kitchens dedicated to supporting this initiative. Work on preparing the materials begins 24 hours before breakfast time, and at five in the morning, meals begin to be prepared by 650 chefs, including 400 chefs in Abu Dhabi, 150 chefs in the city of Al Ain, and 100 chefs in the Emirate of Fujairah. An additional 1,550 workers help them with meal preparation, packaging, cleaning, delivery, and more. 150 trucks transport meals to mosques daily, with meals delivered to their locations from 3:30 pm to 5 pm. The center’s work teams, including support staff and volunteers, meet to prepare the squares, receive those breaking the fast, and serve them in a manner that lives up to the generosity of Emirati hospitality. After the Iftar meal is over, the concerned teams work to clean the Iftar sites and ensure the mosque’s readiness to receive the worshippers in record time and with high efficiency.
Civilized image
Mahra Al Dhaheri pointed out that the “Our Fasting Guests” project, which has extended over successive years, reflects the horizon of diversity, cultural diversity and spiritual richness in the Emirates.
It also constitutes a humanitarian forum that brings together thousands daily from different segments and cultures of society.
They come together at one table, often brought together by wise leadership, as one family bound together by commonalities despite their multiple cultures.
Thus, they form a beautiful human picture framed by coexistence and mutual respect.
