Abu Dhabi, UAE – Al Wahda team won the Challenge Shield title after defeating Al Duhail by one goal to nil, in the match that brought them together on Friday evening, at Al Nahyan Stadium, as part of the UAE-Qatar Super Cup competitions.
The winning goal for Al Wahda against Al Duhail was scored by Syrian player Omar Khribin from a penalty kick in the 29th minute of the match.

The visitors finished the match with 10 men.
In the 29th minute, Syrian Omar Khribin scored the opening goal for Al Wahda against Al Duhail, from a penalty kick after a VAR review.
Al-Duhail threatened Al-Wahda’s goal with the first dangerous ball, which was wasted by the Algerian Adel Boulbina in the 49th minute of the second half.

Syrian Omar Khribin had a clear opportunity to score Al Wahda’s second goal in the 75th minute, but Al Duhail’s goalkeeper caught it.
In the 84th minute, Zayed Al Hammadi, the goalkeeper of Al Wahda, saved Al Annabi’s goal from Al Duhail’s equalizing goal after a brilliant save from the shot of the Algerian Adel Boulbeina.
In the 94th minute of second-half stoppage time, Adel Boulbeina scored an equalizer for Al-Duhail against Al-Wahda. However, the referee disallowed the goal after consulting VAR. A foul was then called against Al-Duhail’s Benjamin for pushing Al-Wahda defender Ruben Felipe.
