Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, visited the Zayed National Museum located in the Saadiyat Island Cultural District,

Among his companions was His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan,

This visit comes within the framework of strengthening the close cultural relations between

the two friendly countries, and showcasing the cultural heritage of the United Arab Emirates.

A glimpse into the humanitarian values ​​of Sheikh Zayed

During the tour, the French President and his accompanying delegation were shown the various sections of the museum.

Especially the “Founder’s Gallery” of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him.

This hall highlights noble human values ​​and his wise approach to establishing the principles of peaceful coexistence.

In addition to his historic efforts in building the modern state

and extending bridges of cultural rapprochement with the various peoples of the world;

This was greatly appreciated by the French delegation.

In a related context, His Excellency the President listened to an explanation about the holdings of the Zayed National Museum,

which exceed 3,000 pieces, of which 1,500 carefully selected pieces are currently on display.

The tour stopped at the “Our Beginnings” hall, which is one of the six most prominent permanent exhibition halls;

This includes rare audio recordings, photographs, and personal belongings

that tell the story of the founding leader’s life.

This gives the visitor a complete visual and auditory experience about the history of the region.
