Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Emirates Search and Rescue Team concluded its participation in the 2025 Africa, Europe and Middle East Earthquake Response Exercise (AEME ERE).
It was hosted by the Republic of South Africa with the participation of a number of international search and rescue teams, with the aim of enhancing the readiness of emergency response teams and developing their field capabilities.
This participation comes within the framework of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority’s efforts to improve the emergency response system.
By exchanging experiences with international teams and applying global best practices in the fields of field research, rescue, and accident site management.
The exercise also contributed to raising the efficiency of participants in dealing with complex scenarios and developing joint coordination skills during field operations.
The Authority affirmed its keenness to continue developing its cadres and enhancing the readiness of the operational work system.
To ensure the highest levels of response in various circumstances, and to support the ability of search and rescue teams to perform their tasks according to the highest standards.
