Abu Dhabi, UAE – Today, on the sidelines of the Bridge Summit 2025, the Emirates Media Council signed a memorandum of understanding with the Department of Tourism, Culture and Information in Ajman.

In line with the Media Regulation Law and its executive regulations and the UAE’s national directions in building a modern and advanced media environment that meets the needs of customers and keeps pace with the rapid developments of the times.
This memorandum comes within the framework of the two sides’ keenness to unify efforts and develop mechanisms for providing media services.
In addition to ensuring the provision of high-quality services to customers, through clear and integrated procedures that enhance the efficiency of media work in the emirate.
It also aims to coordinate powers between federal and local authorities in accordance with approved legal frameworks.
This makes it easier for media institutions and workers in the sector to complete their transactions in a clear and smooth manner.
The memorandum includes cooperation in preparing unified regulatory mechanisms for a number of media services.
In addition to coordinating the process of transferring some of the tasks of providing some services from the Emirates Media Council to the Department of Tourism, Culture and Information in Ajman in a gradual and organized manner.
