Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The Professional Triathlon Sports Organization confirmed that the second edition of the Dubai Triathlon “T100” achieved exceptional success.
She pointed out that the return of the tournament to Meydan Racecourse came amid a distinctive atmosphere and a large presence that reflects Dubai’s position as a global destination for multiple sports.
The Dubai T100 Triathlon Championship concluded its activities on Sunday, after four days of international competitions and community activities.
This was with the participation of more than eight thousand athletes.
The tournament was organized in cooperation between the Professional Triathlon Sports Organization and the World Triathlon Federation.
With support from the Dubai Sports Council and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.
Sam Renoff, CEO of the organization, expressed his happiness to return to Dubai again for this edition.
He pointed out the wide participation, which exceeded eight thousand athletes during the past few days, in one of the most prominent locations hosting our races around the world.
He added that Dubai has become a major stop in the T100 racing series, along with major cities such as London and San Francisco.
He stressed that the elaborate organization and ideal environment provided by the emirate give the event a distinctive character.
He praised the Dubai Fitness Challenge “30×30” initiative and the support it enjoys from the wise leadership.
He pointed to its role in promoting a culture of sports and physical activity.
