Abu Dhabi, UAE – Emaar Properties has contributed AED 100 million to support the “Mother of the Emirates Orphan Endowment” campaign.

Launched by the Awqaf and Minors’ Funds Management Authority – Abu Dhabi Endowments, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

This aims to provide a sustainable source of endowment funding for orphan care in the UAE.

To ensure a more stable future for them and improve their quality of life.

Values of giving and solidarity

This contribution comes within the framework of the broad community interaction that the campaign enjoys from various institutions, entities and individuals.

Reflecting the values of giving and solidarity rooted in UAE society, it enhances efforts to provide a long-term support system for orphans through a sustainable endowment model that achieves sustainable humanitarian impact.

Mohammed Ali Rashid Al Abbar, Founder and Managing Director of Emaar Properties, said: “At Emaar, we believe that supporting national initiatives with sustainable humanitarian impact constitutes a firm societal responsibility, and the company’s contribution to the campaign «Emirates Mother’s Endowment for Orphans» reflects its commitment to participating in efforts that invest in people and support the most needy groups”.

He also expressed his pride in the company being part of this inspiring humanitarian initiative that promotes the values of solidarity and compassion. It contributes to providing sustainable support to orphans, ensuring a more stable future and a better quality of life.

Family Year 2026 Targets

The “Mother of the Emirates Orphan Endowment” campaign is in line with the goals of the “Year of the Family 2026”.

It aims to establish a sustainable endowment fund, the proceeds of which will be allocated to support orphans and provide for their basic needs.

Which contributes to enhancing their social stability and providing them with better opportunities for education and a decent life.

At the same time, it reflects the values of community solidarity that characterize UAE society.
