Voice of the Emirates – Google has provided practical guidelines for securing email and protecting users from hacks, emphasizing that simple steps can make a big difference in account security.

The recommendations include enabling two-step verification and using strong, unique passwords for each account. It is also advisable to review login activity periodically to ensure there are no suspicious devices or attempts.

Google also recommends updating recovery information, such as your phone number and alternate email address. Avoid opening links or files from unknown senders. Additionally, take advantage of Gmail’s security alerts to detect phishing attempts early.

The company asserts that these measures help build effective protection and enhance user awareness of increasing cyber risks.
