Dubai, United Arab Emirates – The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai revealed its readiness to host the World Public Transport Association Summit 2026.
Which will be held from April 21 to 23.
This hosting is the culmination of the emirate’s efforts to shape the future of mobility.
In addition to developing a sustainable, intelligent, human-centered mass transportation system.
It is also the culmination of the successful hosting of this global event in 2011.
The next edition of the World Public Transport Association Summit 2026 will be the first edition to be held in the country in 15 years.
Dubai will be the first city outside the European continent to host the summit in its new annual format, in an event that represents a moment of celebration and a starting point towards a more prosperous future.
Rene Amlicar, President of the World Public Transport Association, said that as the summit moves to the annual format, we believe that this new direction will give greater focus to the human-first approach, and the start will be from Dubai, the city that embodies the future vision of ideal urban life.
