His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, President of the University, delivered a keynote speech. At the beginning, he expressed his thanks to the organizing institutions and sponsors for their efforts in promoting the values of dialogue and coexistence. 

He stressed that the meeting represents a historic opportunity to renew the call. It aims to make spiritual and moral values the basis for building a more peaceful and balanced world. 

Spreading mercy and understanding among peoples

He pointed out that religions still represent a solid framework for spreading mercy and understanding among peoples. The UAE has embodied this role through pioneering global initiatives, most notably the Human Fraternity Document. It was launched from Abu Dhabi in 2019 and has become an international reference for consolidating the principles of coexistence. 

He also stressed the importance of the family’s role in preserving identity, passing on values, and caring for generations. 

He called on religious leaders to formulate references that protect their position. They are the closest pillar for the stability of societies and the protection of their cohesion. 

His Excellency addressed the topic of artificial intelligence. 

He pointed out the wide opportunities it holds for developing education, medicine, communication, and knowledge. Moreover, the potential it provides can enhance human well-being. 

He called for the development of a shared ethical vision that makes this technology a positive force. It should support development and promote cooperation, peace, and serve humanity. 

He stressed that artificial intelligence can be an inspiring tool for achieving a more compassionate and balanced future. This is possible if it is directed in the spirit of shared values between religions and cultures.
