Dubai, UAE – Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation “Empower”, listed on the Dubai Financial Market, announced its financial results for the first half of this year. It recorded total revenues amounting to 1.519 billion dirhams, an increase of 4.5% compared to the same period last year, 2025. Net profit after tax amounted to AED 468 million, a growth of 16.2% compared to the same period in 2025.
The value of profits before deducting interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization reached 773 million dirhams, a growth of 7.5%. Net profit before tax amounted to AED 514 million, a growth of 16.2% compared to the first half of last year, 2025.
Empower explained that during the past 12 months, the institution’s consolidated revenues amounted to 3.49 billion dirhams “from July 2025 to June 2026”. Compared to AED 3.36 billion “from July 2024 to June 2025”, a growth of 3.7%.

In March 2026, the Empower General Assembly approved, with an 85% quorum, the Board of Directors’ proposal regarding the distribution of cash dividends to shareholders for the second half of 2025. With a total amount of 437.5 million dirhams, at 4.375 fils per share. Equivalent to 43.75% of the company’s paid-up capital, and profits were subsequently distributed to shareholders according to the approved schedule.
The company confirmed that the first half of 2026 witnessed significant growth in Empower’s contractual capacity. 61 new contracts were signed to supply various development projects in Dubai with 73,415 tons of cooling. This led to an increase in the total contractual capacity of the institution to 2.02 million tons of refrigeration. This reflects the growing demand by real estate developers and building owners for environmentally friendly district cooling services.
Strengthening digital infrastructure
On the other hand, the institution’s delivery capacity increased to 1.71 million tons of refrigeration after adding more than 51,000 tons of refrigeration during the first half of this year. The total number of buildings provided by the Corporation to its services also increased to 1,796 buildings during the same period.
During the first half of 2026, Empower continued to enhance its digital infrastructure and improve its operational efficiency by opening an advanced command and control center at its new headquarters. It also opened its newest customer service center at its headquarters in Al Jaddaf, Dubai. During the first half, it also announced the signing of a contract to design its fifth district cooling station in the Business Bay area. With a production capacity of up to 44,000 tons of cooling.
