Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Al-Hilal secured a resounding 6-0 victory over Al-Taawoun in their Saudi Professional League match on Saturday evening.
Al-Hilal asserted their dominance early on, with Ollie Watkins opening the scoring in the ninth minute. Gabriel Martinelli then doubled their lead in the 18th minute.
Martinelli returned to reinforce Al-Hilal’s superiority, scoring the third goal in the 43rd minute. Then he completed his personal hat-trick in the 50th minute, after adding the fourth goal for the leader.
Al-Hilal’s offensive surge did not stop, as Watkins succeeded in scoring his second personal goal and his team’s fifth in the 53rd minute. After that, Sultan Mandash completed Al-Hilal’s six goals in the 75th minute.
