Cairo, Egypt – Al Ahly SC has received an official offer from Turkish club Konyaspor. The Turkish club wants to sign midfielder Emam Ashour during the current summer transfer window.
According to the Egyptian newspaper “Al-Masry Al-Youm”, the Turkish offer is worth $4 million and 250 thousand, to sign Imam Ashour during the summer transfer window.
Imam Ashour’s contract with Al Ahly of Egypt runs until the summer of 2028. At the same time, the club’s management is seeking to extend the player’s contract and keep him within the team’s ranks during the coming period.
Al-Masry Al-Youm reported that Al-Ahly’s management recently offered Emam Ashour a contract renewal worth 40 million Egyptian pounds per season, in addition to bonuses.
Imam Ashour is a key player for Al Ahly and the Egyptian national team, having become one of the most prominent midfielders in recent years. Therefore, his future is attracting interest from several clubs.
