Istanbul, Turkey – Egyptian star Mohamed Salah arrived in Turkey on Wednesday to finalize his transfer to Trabzonspor during the current summer transfer window. The deal is one of the most prominent transfers of the summer, attracting widespread attention both in Turkey and abroad.
Trabzonspor announced via their official accounts that Salah arrived at Istanbul Ataturk Airport on a private plane from Greece. The club confirmed that the player will later travel to Trabzon to finalize negotiations and complete the necessary procedures before signing the contracts.
The club explained that the player will be officially presented to the fans and media tomorrow, Thursday, after all procedures related to the deal have been completed.
Trabzonspor’s official YouTube channel broadcast live coverage of Mohamed Salah’s arrival. Meanwhile, videos published by Turkish media outlets, including the newspaper Sabah, showed a number of the club’s fans welcoming the player outside Istanbul Airport.
